Version 0.3.0 brings images into your conversations and more of Codex’s pending questions onto the deck. See what your agent is showing you, then answer its questions without returning to the keyboard.
Images in chat
The Mac app displays image attachments and images returned by tools or agents. On the deck, tap an image entry to open its preview. Previews stay open while the host sends heartbeats and new chat messages arrive.
Pending questions on the deck
Codex’s asynchronous clarification questions now appear alongside permission prompts. Questions queue one at a time and remain available when a turn finishes. Choose an option or speak your reply. Answering in Codex clears the matching device question, and reconnecting restores unanswered questions.
If a reply fails to send, the question returns for another attempt. Permission prompts take priority, with the unanswered question returning afterward.
Connection and hardware updates
The Mac app now accepts larger initial chat snapshots without dropping the connection. The Rev B manufacturing files use a 3.6 kΩ R37 for approximately 247 mA charging of a 500 mAh cell, with an updated Chinese assembly BOM. The resistor change applies to newly assembled or physically modified boards.
