What we collect
- Waitlist: the email address you submit, the signup date, and the version of the notice shown when you agree to receive device availability updates.
- Connection information: Cloudflare processes request metadata, including your IP address, to serve and protect the website. Our signup endpoint uses your IP for short-lived rate limiting. We do not store it, your browser details, or referral URLs in the waitlist database.
- Browser preferences: your chosen day/night theme and acknowledgement of the privacy notice stay in your browser. See Cookie information.
Why we use it
With your consent, we use your email to tell you when the device is available to buy and send related availability updates. Joining is not an order, reservation, payment, or guarantee of a delivery date. We do not add you to the Cohdl software waitlist or unrelated mailing lists.
Connection metadata helps deliver the site, prevent spam, and diagnose failures. Our application logs do not include signup form contents. There are no advertising or analytics scripts in this site.
Who processes it
The team operating OpenWalkieTalkie can access the list to manage signups and send the updates you requested. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the list in its D1 database; processing may take place in countries where Cloudflare operates. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your waitlist data.
Links to GitHub, Discord, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are automatically removed after two years. You can request removal sooner. Deleted data may remain in provider backups until their normal retention cycles complete.
Your choices and requests
To leave the list, correct your email, or request a copy or deletion of your signup, email privacy@cohdl.ai from the address you used. Withdrawing consent stops future availability emails. We may need to verify a request before disclosing or changing data.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to your local data protection authority.
The device and Mac app
This notice describes the website and waitlist. Joining does not send us your agent conversations, voice recordings, or information from a connected device. The browser demo uses scripted content and does not record your microphone.

We will update this page when the website's data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
